巫愁簡介 巫愁生於1963年2月2日,终於2012年5月10日。香港出生,小學及中學就讀於嘉諾撒聖方濟各學校和聖保羅男女中學。1985年畢業於香港大學土木工程系。隨即受聘於瑞安集團工作,次年加入香港政府路政署,一直工作至2012年5月離世。服務香港27年。 學生時代巫愁非常活躍,除了積極參與土木工程學系的事務外,還獲選為1984年度香港大學學生會幹事會財務秘書。在政府服務期間,巫愁考取了工程師資格,她一直勤奮工作,敬業樂業。在工作期間,她力求進步,修讀法律,完成了倫敦大學海外法律學士學位。又参加香港中文大學哲學課程,因病而輟。 巫愁歷任助理工程師、工程師、高級工程師、總工程師。参與香港多項重要的基建工程,包括海底隧道,東區走廊與沙中線等。在香港繁榮發展過程中,留下她畢生的貢獻。 巫愁這一生,活得有意義。對社會、對人貢獻良多。我們永永遠遠懷念她。 Biography of Mo Sau Mo Sau was born in Hong Kong on 2 Feb 1963 and passed away on 10 May 2012. She completed her primary and secondary schools in St. Francis’ Canossian School and St. Paul’s Co-educational College, respectively. In 1985, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) She launched her engineering career with the Shui On Group and in the following year, she joined the Hong Kong Highways Department, where she continued to work until her passing, thus serving Hong Kong for 27 years. Mo Sau was a very active student during her years at HKU. She was highly engaged with the affairs of the Department of Civil Engineering. Moreover, she was elected as the Financial Secretary of the Union Executives in the Hong Kong University Students’ Union in 1984. During her service in the Government, Mo Sau achieved the designation of a chartered civil engineer. She was hardworking and remained greatly devoted to her profession. Always upholding self-motivated spirit, she used her leisure time to complete a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London. Afterwards, she enrolled in the philosophy curriculum at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. However, due to her illness she had to withdraw from the program. Mo Sau had an amazing career, from being an assistant civil engineer to civil engineer, senior civil engineer and eventually attaining the chief civil engineer position. She participated in many major infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Cross-Harbour Tunnel, the Island Eastern Corridor and the Shatin to Central Railway Link. Her unconditional dedication to her work is succeeded by the significant contributions she has made towards the development of Hong Kong today. Mo Sau has led a meaningful life. She has contributed a lot to our society. She will always be in our heart.
